Evan's Instagram updates quickly drew heavy criticism. Nnetizens labelled him a "stalker" and a "bad influence." Some even hurled more serious accusations, calling him a "dr-g addict." Comments flooded in urging him to stay away from Rosé.

One user wrote, "Rosé, don’t tear down your own worth over a guy like him." Another comment claimed, "This guy purposely leaves hints linking himself to Rosé but deletes negative comments about himself."
