Popular singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh posted a cryptic message on social media just a day after receiving a notice from the Telangana government, instructing him not to perform any songs that promote alcohol, drugs, or violence at his upcoming concert in Hyderabad.

The singer, who began the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour in Delhi this October, is scheduled to perform at the GMR Arena on Friday evening.

"Aandhi roke to hum toofan... Toofan roke to hum aag ka dariya. DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24 (If the storm stops then we become the tempest and if the tempest stops then we become the river of fire)," he posted, quoting Bajirao's war cry from Ranveer Singh-starrer "Bajirao Mastaani".

On Thursday, the Telangana government issued a notice to the singer, urging him not to perform songs that promote alcohol, drugs, or violence during his live show in Hyderabad.
