Tollywood actors Venkatesh and Chiranjeevi are all set to share screen space for the first time in Anil Ravipudi's next movie, Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu. Anil described the combination as a "sweet surprise" during his remarks at the title glimpse launch in Hyderabad on Friday.
Anil confirmed the long-standing rumours that Venkatesh will play a key role in Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film MSVG.
Anil said, “As soon as I asked Venkatesh, he agreed to give the voice-over for Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu’s title glimpse. So, thanks to Victory Venkatesh garu. He has just given his voice so far and will soon give an entry in the film too. So, we are all about to see what the combo of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Victory Venkatesh will look like. You will all have a sweet surprise this Sankranthi.”
Venkatesh plays a pivotal role in MSVG, which is directed by Anil and features Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara in the lead roles.
The rumours about the collaboration swirled around for the first time after a Keralan YouTuber posted a video in July. The clip featured pics of Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara filming a wedding scene from the movie that surfaced online.

Similar to Anil's previous works, the movie is touted as a comedy. Chiranjeevi was seen smoking a cigarette and wearing a suit in the MSVG title glimpse, with security on either side of him. He had an ID card on his chest, too. Chiranjeevi's real name, Sivasankara Varaprasad, is the inspiration behind the film's title.
This also marks the first collaboration of Anil and Chiranjeevi. In the popular family comedies F2: Fun and Frustration and F3, he previously collaborated with Venkatesh. Additionally, they collaborated on Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which earned Rs 255.2 crore worldwide and is the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2025. In addition to the movie with Anil, Chiranjeevi will feature in Vishwambhara, a film directed by Vassishta, and an untitled Srikanth Odela production.
