Sanaya Irani's career began with a debut in the SAB TV drama Left Right Left (2007), where she played Cadet Sameera Shroff. Her performance caught the attention of audiences and critics alike, paving the way for future roles. Following this, she portrayed a negative character in Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi (2008) on Imagine TV.

Sanaya Irani's breakthrough came with her role as Gunjan in Miley Jab Hum Tum (2008–2010) on STAR One.
