BTS’ youngest member, Jeon Jungkook, surprised fans worldwide with a revelation during a Weverse live session. What began as a casual, lighthearted home tour turned into an emotional moment when the singer opened up about his struggles with ADHD.
The 28-year-old, fondly known as the Golden Maknae, appeared relaxed as he guided ARMY through parts of his home. Fans got a peek at his television setup, staircase, and gym corner before Jungkook settled back onto his sofa to continue chatting. Jungkook even surprised fans by revealing a new piercing just below his lip. He said, "I am sure some of my ARMY will also be having their birthday today. Here's wishing them too. I got a piercing here, though it is red right now." He also admitted that he chipped a tooth while getting the piercing.
His playful energy and constant movement were on full display, but a comment from a viewer shifted the tone of the livestream.
When a user asked him not to move around so much, Jungkook responded candidly, revealing for the first time that he has ADHD. “I can’t help it. I kind of have adult ADHD. I have it so I keep moving like this,” he admitted. Viewers of the livestream praised his openness about a topic that is often stigmatised.
Fans were quick to defend him against the insensitive comment that triggered his admission. Social media soon flooded with messages of empathy and support. One ARMY wrote, “If he wants to rock a bit, he will, if he wants to stay still, he will. Why are they pressed even about that?” Another supporter emphasised, “JK can be himself, he’s at his home. If he wants to move, he can.”
On the professional front, BTS has recently reunited in South Korea after their visit to the United States. There is heightened excitement about a potential group comeback in 2026.
