BTS’ Jin prepares for j-Hope’s military discharge; shares what he is upto post military service

BTS’ Jin, who recently completed his military service, took to Weverse to share his excitement about bandmate j-Hope’s upcoming military discharge in October 2024. Jin's post not only highlighted his anticipation for j-Hope's return but also provided fans with an update on his current activities.

Responding to a fan's post counting down the days to j-Hope's military discharge, Jin expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Hobi, there’s not a lot of time left for you to come back." Jin also shared some advice, mentioning that he took only one day of rest after his discharge and encouraged j-Hope to work hard upon his return.

Jin also took the opportunity to update fans on his current endeavours. He revealed that he has been busy recording music, filming for entertainment shows, and working on new plans he devised during his military service. Jin emphasised his eagerness to reconnect with fans, stating, "I want to show my face to fans a lot of times." He hinted that the results of his efforts would be unveiled in a few months and asked fans for their patience, saying, "Please wait for some more time."

Jin’s interaction with fans continued as he responded to various inquiries. When asked about promotions for his song Super Tuna, Jin mentioned that he thought it was only polite to wait until Jimin’s album was released. In response to a fan expressing eagerness to see Jin act, he clarified, "I don't have plans to act."

Jin, whose full name is Kim Seokjin, is the oldest member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS. He was discharged from the military on June 12, 2024. Shortly after his discharge, Jin participated in FESTA 2024, an annual event celebrating BTS’ debut anniversary. On June 13, 2024, Jin hosted a special event where he gave hugs to 1000 fans and performed live, marking his first public appearance post-military service.
