Shweta Tiwari-Raja Chaudhary, Jennifer Winget -Karan Singh Grover: TV celebs who had shocking divorces 

Raja Chaudhary and Shweta Tiwari
One of the industry's most highly publicized divorces was this one. The pair got married in 1998, but they divorced in 2007 after Raja Chaudhary was accused of domestic abuse and drunkenness. In 2012, the divorce was finalised. For years, their contentious divorce and court cases dominated the news, and Shweta was granted sole custody of their daughter, Palak.

In 2013, Shweta's second marriage to actor Abhinav Kohli similarly ended in divorce. More claims of domestic abuse against Kohli led to their split in 2019. Since then, a custody dispute has engulfed the two over their son, Reyansh, who resides with Shweta.

On the reality show Nach Baliye, this love blossomed into a romantic fairy tale before abruptly collapsing in the public eye. After getting married in 2009, Dalljiet accused Shalin of domestic abuse and filed for divorce in 2015. It took years to end the acrimonious split. In 2023, Dalljiet remarried and gained custody of their son, Jaydon. She also split from her second husband accusing him of cheating.

Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh 
Fans of Sanjeeda and Aamir, who were  seen as one of the most adored television couples, were completely taken aback by their split after almost ten years of dating. The couple was granted a divorce in 2021 after having a daughter through surrogacy in 2020.

Sachin Shroff and Juhi Parmar
It was unexpected to learn of this couple's split after nine years of marriage. Due to Juhi's incompatibility, the divorce was granted in 2018. Later on, Sachin asserted that Juhi had never loved him. Juhi was given the custody of Samairra, their daughter.

Vivian Dsena and Vahbiz Dorabjee
Vivian and Vahbiz met on the sets of Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani but later got divorced in 2016 after only three years of marriage. Their divorce became a contentious, protracted court case. In 2021, the divorce was finalized. Vivian has since moved on and remarried, and Vahbiz has been candid about the traumatic experience.

Fans were taken aback when this well-liked couple separated after just two years of marriage. There were several reports of Karan's adultery after the divorce. They were not ready for marriage at the time, Jennifer subsequently remarked. Karan went on to marry actress Bipasha Basu in 2016.

Pankit Thakker and Prachi 
After living apart for several years, this long-running television pair, who were married in 2000, formally filed for divorce in December 2024. They both agreed to the divorce and are still co-parenting their son.
