On the occasion of Maha Ashtami, Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra celebrated the sacred tradition of Kanya Puja at their home, a ritual performed to honor the divine feminine energy. The couple, joined by their daughter Samisha, welcomed young girls for the ceremony and offered prayers to Goddess Mahagauri, a form of Maa Durga.

Shilpa, dressed in a vibrant pink ethnic outfit, was seen performing the rituals with devotion. In a heartwarming video shared on Instagram, the actress washed the feet of little girls as part of the puja, symbolizing respect and reverence for kanyas who are considered manifestations of the goddess during Navratri. Raj Kundra also participated, assisting Shilpa and making the ceremony a family affair.

Their daughter Samisha, seated in a bright pink dress, was equally involved, making the occasion even more special.
The rituals included aarti, washing of feet, and feeding the girls traditional delicacies. The Bhojan Prasad, which featured poori, chana, and halwa, was lovingly served by Shilpa and Raj themselves. The videos captured the joy on the faces of the young girls as they were treated with warmth and devotion.
