Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner Sana Makbul recently revealed her ongoing battle with an autoimmune liver disease, shedding light on a challenging health journey that began in 2020. In a candid conversation on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast, the actress disclosed her diagnosis of autoimmune hepatitis, a condition where the immune system mistakenly attacks liver cells.

Sana’s revelation resonated with fans and the entertainment industry, especially since she compared her struggle to that of actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has been battling myositis—an autoimmune muscle condition. Speaking about her health, Sana stated, “A lot of people don’t know that I am an autoimmune hepatitis patient. I have a liver disease, it was diagnosed in 2020. It has no specific symptoms.”
