Nikki Tamboli, a current contestant on Bigg Boss Marathi 5, recently drew parallels between her journey on the show and that of Gautam Gulati, the winner of Bigg Boss Hindi season 8. In a conversation with fellow contestant Abhijeet Sawant, Nikki opened up about feeling isolated in the house, likening her situation to Gautam’s during his season. Nikki’s reflections highlighted her resolve and the importance she places on the audience’s perception rather than her relationships with housemates.
During their discussion, Nikki expressed her frustration about being at odds with the majority of the house. She said to Abhijeet, "Sher hamesha akela hota hai, wo kabhi bhi jhund mein nahi chalta. Baki sare animals jhund se attack karte hai ghumte hai but sher hamesha akela hota."
Nikki then referenced Gautam Gulati’s journey in Bigg Boss Hindi season 8, pointing out the similarities between their experiences. She mentioned, "In the Hindi Bigg Boss season 8, not even one person was supporting Gautam Gulati. The entire house was against him. Not even a single person was with him still he won the show."
Drawing strength from Gautam’s example, Nikki highlighted that, like him, she is focused on the audience rather than her peers. "Audience matters to me. I have nothing to do with the housemates," she said, signaling her intent to play the game her way without getting swayed by the opinions or alliances forming around her.
Nikki’s comparison to Gautam Gulati is intriguing, as it underscores her understanding of the Bigg Boss game as one that can be won not just through social maneuvering but also by maintaining one’s individuality and integrity. Her resolve to focus on the audience indicates a clear strategy to appeal directly to viewers, who she believes will see through the drama inside the house and appreciate her authenticity.
