BABYMONSTER's Ahyeon has captured the affection of fans worldwide with her warm and considerate nature. Recently, she demonstrated her kindness in a touching incident that has gone viral.
A video featuring Ahyeon started trending on X (formerly Twitter). The clip showed her interacting with fans at an airport in China during her trip to Singapore. In the video, one of Ahyeon's fans attempted to give her a handmade gift, a gesture that is typically not allowed according to YG Entertainment's rules. The agency’s policy only permits fans to give letters to their idols, strictly prohibiting other gifts.
The fan, who had invested significant time and effort into creating the handmade gift, expressed their disappointment when Ahyeon’s manager and the staff initially refused to accept it. Ahyeon, visibly empathetic, felt sorry for not being able to accept the gift on the spot.
However, Ahyeon found a clever way to circumvent the rules. Speaking in Chinese, a language her manager did not understand, Ahyeon secretly instructed the fan to pass the gift to her later. This discreet interaction allowed Ahyeon to receive the gift without breaking any official protocols.
This heartwarming gesture impressed her fans and spread across social media platforms. Ahyeon's willingness to go the extra mile for her fans was widely praised.

Ahyeon gained popularity with BABYMONSTER's viral hit BATTER UP. The group consists of seven members: Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita. BABYMONSTER was formed under YG Entertainment, the same agency behind BLACKPINK. The agency began working on the group's launch in early 2018, eventually selecting the members through a reality show called Last Evaluation.
BABYMONSTER officially debuted with their single BATTER UP on November 27, 2023. Initially, they debuted as a sextet because Ahyeon was on hiatus due to health issues. She made a triumphant return earlier this year when the group officially debuted with their album BABYMONS7ER on April 1. Recently, they released a pre-release single, FOREVER, on July 1.
