The action thriller Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi, is finally available for streaming on OTT following its theatrical release in December last year. Fans who missed the film on the big screen can now watch it from the comfort of their homes.

Currently, Baby John is streaming on Amazon Prime Video for all subscribers. Initially, the film was available for rent on the platform for Rs 250, but it is now accessible to everyone with a subscription. To announce the streaming release, Prime Video shared a fun video on Instagram featuring the lead cast, generating excitement among viewers. The caption read, “we can listen to this hazaar baar. #BabyJohnOnPrime, Watch Now.”

Baby John, presented by Atlee and produced by Priya Atlee, Murad Khetani, and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of A for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios, was initially expected to be a major Christmas box office hit.

The action-packed film, featuring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi in leading roles, hit theatres on December 25, 2024. The film follows DCP Satya Verma, who stages his own death to shield his daughter from the ruthless politician Babbar Sher. However, when his past catches up with him and old enemies return, Satya is forced to come out of hiding, risking everything to protect his family.

However, despite the anticipation, it received mixed to negative reviews, primarily due to audience familiarity with the original version. As a result, the film struggled to perform well, earning Rs 61 crore globally and Rs 47.3 crore in India’s gross collection.
