Bollywood celebrities are celebrating Baisakhi and flaunting their festivities on social media. However, Arjun Kapoor has recently reflected on the significance of the festival and also recalled his favourite childhood Baisakhi memory.

During a recent interview with Bollywood Times, Arjun Kapoor revealed that “Gurdwara aur khaana” was his favorite memory from the festivity. The actor revealed that his maternal grandparents were from Ambala, and his grandparents are also Punjabis.

He added, “They celebrate every festival with food… Toh ghar par jo khaana pakta tha, it was a mark of celebration for that particular festival, and Baisakhi was no different (So the food that was cooked at home, it was a mark of celebration for that particular festival, and Baisakhi was different).”

Arjun Kapoor further recalled that he remembers going to gurudwara and enjoying langar when he was younger. He recalled, “Aur langar lagte the wahaan par toh halwa khaane mein bohot mazaa aata tha. Halwa poori milti thi (And langars were organised there, it was fun to eat halwa there. Halwa Puri was also available).”
