Singer and songwriter Arijit Singh was gearing up for his Abu Dhabi concert on May 9. However, the singer has postponed his live show in Abu Dhabi in the wake of the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan.
Arijit took his official Instagram account and issued an official statement pushing the May 9 show to a later date.
The announcement reads, “Dear Fans, Due to recent events, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Arijit Singh live concert in Abu Dhabi, originally scheduled for 9 May 2025, at Etihad Arena, Yas Island.”
The singer added, “We deeply appreciate your patience, support and understanding during this time. We are working closely with the venue and the new date will be announced soon.”
“All purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date, or you may opt for a full refund within 7 days, starting 12 May 2025 (Monday),” the Instagram post continued.
He concluded his post by writing, “Thank you for your continued love and support, we look forward to creating unforgettable memories with you soon. With love, Team Arijit Singh Live.”
The singer canceled his Abu Dhabi concert after India launched Operation Sindoor, a retaliatory strike targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, after the Pahalgam attack.
