Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor and his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor have bought a Rs. 5 crore apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai, as per August 2025 property registration documents reviewed online.

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, along with his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, has purchased a premium apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai, for Rs. 5 crore. According to property registration documents reviewed by real estate platform Square Yards on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Maharashtra, the transaction was registered in August 2025.

Bandra West continues to remain one of Mumbai’s most coveted real estate destinations, known for its blend of luxury living, heritage charm, and excellent connectivity. The locality offers a mix of modern high-rise apartments, old-world bungalows, and boutique commercial spaces. Its proximity to business hubs such as Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Lower Parel, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport further enhances its appeal. With easy access via the Western Express Highway, Bandra railway station, and upcoming Metro lines, the area has emerged as a hotspot for celebrities, business leaders, and investors alike.

As per the registration details, the Kapoors’ newly acquired apartment is located in The Smoky Hill CHS Ltd. The property has a built-up area of 108.25 sq. m. (approximately 1,165 sq. ft.) and a carpet area of 970.71 sq. ft. (around 90 sq. m.). The purchase also includes one dedicated garage space. The transaction attracted a stamp duty of Rs. 30 lakh and registration charges of Rs. 30,000.
Anil Kapoor, a stalwart of Indian cinema, has been one of Bollywood’s most enduring stars for over four decades.
