Bollywood celebrities, including Ananya Panday, Mika Singh and others, welcomed Ganapati Bappa to their homes on August 27 in grand celebrations.
However, the celebrities have continued the ritual and bid farewell to Lord Ganesha after keeping the idol at home for over a day.
Ananya Panday took to her Instagram and shared a video of the Ganapati Visarjan ceremony and urged Lord Ganesha to come again next year.
In the video, she was seen accompanied by her family and dipped the Idol in a drum filled with water as part of the Visarjan ceremony. The actress was also seen sharing her wish in Bappa's ear before saying goodbye.
Ananya has recently dropped a series of glimpses of her Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with her family. She also shared a glimpse at her traditional ensemble that left everyone in awe.
She posted a series of elegant pictures of herself in traditional attire on social media. She accessorised her outfit with fresh flowers in her hair and wore a dark leaf green saree with a delicately embroidered golden blouse. “It’s starting to look a lot like my favourite time of the year," she captioned the post.
Singer Mika Singh was also seen performing the Visarjan ceremony in his society.
Additionally, Gurmeet Choudhary and his actress wife, Debina Bonnerjee, were also spotted in Mumbai, bidding an adieu to lord Ganesha. The couple, along with their kids, Lianna Choudhary and Divisha Choudhary, were also spotted dancing on the dhol beats during the visarjan ceremony.
For those who are unaware, Ganpati Visarjan can be performed after one day, three days, five days, seven days, or ten days. Most of the celebrities prefer Ganpati Visarjan after a day.
