Ananya Panday recently lit up the stage at an awards ceremony on May 17 with her contagious energy and charming relationship with her father, veteran actor Chunky Pandey.
The father-daughter pair performed to the popular song Main Tera Tota Tu Meri Maina, originally picturised on Chunky himself, in a moment that made the audience feel both happy and nostalgic.
Ananya is seen dancing joyfully to the well-known song in videos that quickly went viral on social media, before her father unexpectedly shows up and joins her with equal fervour. The crowd erupted in thunderous applause as their flawless chemistry and pure joy lit up the stage.
The performance concluded on a touching note as Ananya bowed to her father and embraced him warmly. Sharing the memorable moment on Instagram stories, she wrote, “Most fun dancing on dad’s songs.”
Fans were quick to shower their love and admiration in the comments section. Ananya took the stage several times during the star-studded evening. She once again demonstrated her lively stage presence and comfort level in front of a live audience by dancing to Ek Tu Hi Yaar Mera from her 2019 movie Pati Patni Aur Woh, in which she costarred with Kartik Aaryan.
On the work front, Ananya's most recent professional appearance was in Kesari: Chapter 2, in which she costarred with R. Madhavan and Akshay Kumar.
She will next be seen opposite Lakshya Lalwani in the romantic drama Chand Mera Dil, which is produced by Dharma Productions.
