Actor Akhil Akkineni recently married Zainab Ravdjee in a lavish traditional ceremony on June 6. The star-studded wedding was attended by several prominent celebrities and politicians. Several photos and videos from the ceremony have already been swirling around social media.
However, Akhil took to his Instagram to officially share the photos from his wedding. Alongside the photos, Akhil penned a sweet note and wrote, “June 6, 2025. My heart felt like sharing a few moments from the best day of my life."
He concluded his caption by writing, "Thank you @eshantrajuphotography @khushbooguptaoguri for capturing these memories so beautifully.”
In the photos, Akhil and Zainab are seen sweetly engaged in a conversation in a series of photos. Another photo showed Nagarjuna sitting with a newly married couple. In one photo, Akhil ties a mangalsutra around Zainab’s neck as a part of the ritual. The couple are also seen taking pheras.
For the wedding, both Akhil and Zainab sported elegant and traditional South Indian wedding attire. Zainab wore a classic off-white or ivory silk saree, which features a subtle sheen and a rich gold zari border.
She completed her look with mangalsutra, maang tikka, heavy earrings, a traditional nose ring, and ornate bangles. Her hands are beautifully decorated with intricate henna, and her long braid is adorned with strands of white jasmine flowers.
Meanwhile, Akhil complemented his wife in a white kurta paired with a white dhoti and a coordinating angavastram draped over his shoulder.
Akhil Akkineni and Zainab Ravdjee’s lavish wedding ceremony was held at the Akkineni residence in Jubilee Hills. The couple have kept most of the details of their relationship private. They are believed to be dated before their engagement last year.
