Bihar Elections 2025: Full list of JD(U) candidates in 101 seats

The first list, which was released on Wednesday, disclosed the names of 57 candidates, whereas the second list had 44 names. The second list included several ministers like Sheila Mandal, Vijendra Prasad Yadav, Leshi Singh, Jayant Raj and Mohd Zama Khan featuring among the nominees.

With the release of the names of 44 candidates on Thursday, the Janata Dal United JD(U) has releases the names of all candidates for 101 assembly seats. The Bharatiya Janata Party and the JD(U) had arrived at the 101 seats each formula on Sunday. However, going by media reports and internal rumbling the Nitish Kumar is visibly unhappy with the deal.

The first list, which was released on Wednesday, disclosed the names of 57 candidates, whereas the second list had 44 names. The second list included several ministers like Sheila Mandal, Vijendra Prasad Yadav, Leshi Singh, Jayant Raj and Mohd Zama Khan featuring among the nominees.

The party also fielded turncoats Chetan Anand from Nabinagar and Vibha Devi from Nawad. Both were earlier associated with the RJD. Besides, the JD(U) nominated Kaladhar Mandal from the Rupauli seat.

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has announced candidates for 226 of the 243 Assembly seats in Bihar so far, with 31 women making it to the list. The Janata Dal (United) has fielded 13 women among its 101 candidates. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which has also declared nominees for all 101 seats allocated to it, has also included 13 women in its lineup.
