Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s seven-year-old son, Mark Shankar, suffered burn injuries in a fire accident that happened at his school in Singapore on Tuesday morning, the Jana Sena party posted on X.

According to the post shared by the party, Jana Sena party president’s son sustained injuries to his hands and legs and experienced respiratory distress due to smoke inhalation. He is presently hospitalised and undergoing treatment.

Pawan Kalyan was informed about the incident while he was on a tour in the Alluri Sitarama Raju district. Despite learning about his son’s injury, he continued his visit to Kuridi village near Araku.

“I had assured the tribal community of Kuridi that I would visit their village and address their concerns. I will honour that commitment before departing,” he said.
