US President Donald Trump said he will visit China in early 2026 after a “very productive” call with Xi Jinping that covered trade, fentanyl, Ukraine, and the TikTok deal.

US President Donald Trump said he will visit China in early 2026 after what he called a “very productive” phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The two leaders discussed a broad range of issues, including trade, fentanyl trafficking, the war in Ukraine, and the approval of a deal allowing TikTok to continue operating in the United States, according to Trump's Truth Social post.

“I just completed a very productive call with President Xi of China. We made progress on many very important issues including Trade, Fentanyl, the need to bring the War between Russia and Ukraine to an end, and the approval of the TikTok Deal," Donald Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

The US President also added that he and Xi Jinping agreed to meet in person at the APEC summit in South Korea.
