Tech billionaire Elon Musk has once again criticized President Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful” spending bill, warning in a key vote that it would cause “immense strategic harm” to the country.
This comes just weeks after a public feud between President Trump and his longtime friend Elon Musk over Musk’s opposition to the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill,” though the two later reconciled.
“The latest Senate draft bill will destroy millions of jobs in America and cause immense strategic harm to our country!” Musk posted on X.
Musk’s remarks come as the U.S. Senate gears up for a key vote on Saturday (local time). Republicans are working swiftly to advance President Trump’s proposed legislation which features tax cuts, spending rollbacks, and increased funding for deportation efforts before the July 4th deadline.
While the GOP is leveraging its Senate majority to move the bill forward, it faces fierce resistance from Democrats. Additionally, some Republican senators remain cautious, raising concerns over proposed cuts to programs such as Medicaid, food assistance, and other vital social services.
