US President Donald Trump is reportedly frustrated over continued aerial strikes by Russia and Ukraine, despite his attempts to broker peace, The Telegraph reported on March 23, citing sources close to him.

Following Trump’s recent calls with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Kremlin announced a 30-day pause on strikes targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Kyiv welcomed a mutual halt on energy attacks but accused Russia of continuing strikes on civilian areas.

Washington and Kyiv had previously pushed for a broader 30-day ceasefire covering all combat operations, but Moscow rejected the proposal unless it included a halt on foreign military aid to Ukraine and other conditions that would weaken Kyiv’s defense capabilities.
