The pro-Russian Telegram channel Fighterbomber, which is closely associated with Russian military aviation, confirmed the incident, stating that “the helicopter did not return from a combat mission, and the crew died.” However, it did not specify what caused the crash.

Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat previously told Ukrainska Pravda that the Ka-52 “remains one of the most dangerous enemy aircraft,” but added that “Ukraine’s mobile air defense groups are successfully hunting them.”
