Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif turned heads at the United Nations General Assembly on Friday when he dedicated a large portion of his speech to praising Donald Trump. In a dramatic endorsement, Sharif hailed the US President as a 'man of peace' and even announced Pakistan’s decision to nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

“Though in a position of strength, Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire facilitated by President Trump’s bold and vigorous leadership,” Sharif told world leaders as per a report by ANI.

He went further, calling Trump’s intervention 'wonderful and outstanding,' insisting that nominating him for the Nobel was 'the least we can do for his love of peace.'
