A few weeks ago, Xiaomi unveiled its latest flagship smartphone series in China, which includes the Xiaomi 17, the Xiaomi 17 Pro, and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The company is now expected to launch the most powerful model in this series, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The purported device has been making the rumour mill for quite some time now, and has now been listed on the Chinese 3C certification website, revealing its charging specification and imminent debut.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra: Expected charging details
The China Compulsory Certification (3C) website has listed two new model numbers, 2512BPNDAC and 25128PNA1C, without revealing any names. However, some reports suggest that these models correspond to the standard Xiaomi 17 Ultra, while the other one is expected to be the dual satellite communication version of the purported smartphone.
Moreover, both devices are certified with the power adapter ‘MDY-18-EW,’ which confirms support for 100W fast wired charging. This hints that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra could offer support for 100W fast charging, an upgrade over the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which supports 90W charging. Like other Xiaomi 17 smartphones, the phone is also tipped to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Recently, Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station also shared that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra could be the only flagship to feature a 1-inch type primary camera, possibly the 50MP OmniVision OV50X main camera. Further, it is tipped to have a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto sensor, and a 200MP ISOCELL HP5 periscope telephoto camera. Considering the Xiaomi 15 Ultra launched in February this year, we can expect the Xiaomi 17 Ultra to debut sometime in the first quarter of 2026.
