At the core of the HD 505 is a 120ohm transducer engineered at Sennheiser’s audiophile facility in Tullamore, Ireland. It features a wide frequency response range of 12Hz to 38,500Hz and maintains a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.2%. According to the company, the angled transducers are designed to replicate the positioning of nearfield speakers, resulting in a broader soundstage.

The headphones include a detachable 1.8m cable with a 3.5mm plug and a 6.3mm adapter for broader compatibility.
