Actor Elijah Wood has the distinction of playing one of the most famous movie roles of all time – that of Hobbit Frodo Baggins in director Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy – and several of his co-actors in the film adaptations of JRR Tolkien’s fantasy books can boast the same. Be they Ian McKellen (Gandalf Greyhame), Cate Blanchett (Lady Galadriel), Saruman (Christopher Lee), Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn), Sean Bean (Boromir), Bernard Hill (King Theoden), Karl Urban (Eomer) or Andy Serkis (Gollum). The list of acclaimed names that are part of the Lord of the Rings films just goes on and on.

The American actor and film producer recently took to Reddit to promote the reboot of the upcoming horror comedy “The Toxic Avenger”, in which he plays the role of Fritz Garbinger. The questions began to pour in on the actor's Reddit AMA thread. A user wanted to know which video games were Elijah’s favourite and also which ones he has been playing of late.

"It’s difficult to single out one game as my all-time favorite," Wood answered, "but I have a real soft spot for the LucasArts adventure games from the 90s like The Secret of Monkey Island, Full Throttle and Sam & Max Hit the Road. I just love the adventure game format and the heavy focus on great, often comedic, writing. I was honored to get to work with a master of that era, Tim Schafer, on Broken Age, which was truly a gift to be a part of.”

In response to the second question, he said that lately he has been playing Blue Prince and Wheel World on Steam Deck. "Lately I’ve been loving Blue Prince (a modern puzzle masterpiece) and Wheel World on the Steam Deck."
