Open your UPI app
Launch your preferred UPI-enabled app such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or BHIM. Go to your profile or payment settings to manage your payment methods.
Verify and set your UPI PIN
You’ll receive a one-time password (OTP) on your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP to verify your card. Once authenticated, create a new 4- or 6-digit UPI PIN for your card. This PIN will be used specifically for credit card-based payments.
Scan and pay
To make a payment, scan any UPI QR code at a merchant outlet. On the payment screen, choose your linked credit card or bank account, enter your UPI PIN, and confirm the payment
Add your card
Look for the option to add a credit or debit card. For credit cards, select “Add RuPay Credit Card” or a similar option. This feature currently supports only RuPay credit cards issued by participating banks.
Enter card details
The app may automatically identify cards linked to your mobile number. If not, choose your card issuer from the list and enter the last six digits and the expiry date of your card.
