Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has commended the Men in Blue for their enormous talent depth, pointing out that even on a bad day, India can easily outperform bitter rivals Pakistan.

India, under Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy, clinched a six-wicket victory over Pakistan in Sunday’s Super 4 clash. While the Indian batting lineup shone, the bowlers struggled, with Jasprit Bumrah ending up as the most expensive among them.

In an Instagram video, Manjrekar emphasized this. “India wasn’t at their best, clearly. I mean, just imagine Bumrah being India’s most expensive bowler. He had an off day, India dropped three catches, so they were well below their best, and despite that, they won comfortably against Pakistan,” he said.
