The match was cut down to 27 overs per side because of the weather. Bangladesh scored 119 for 9, and India were 57 without losing a wicket in 8.4 overs when the rain came back. With the downpour continuing, the officials decided to call off the match. India’s target had been revised to 126 runs from 27 overs.
The officials are yet to confirm how serious Rawal's injury is. India face Australia in the semifinal of the World Cup next.
