India head coach Gautam Gambhir sent a heartfelt message to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on his 60th birthday. "Birthday greetings to the brightest star shining in our lives! His success is second only to his humility & grace! Lots of love," Gambhir wrote on X.
Gambhir before taking the role as India's head coach was associated with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise co-owned by the actor. In all the three titles KKR have won so far in the cash-rich league, Gambhir has had some role to play. The franchise won two titles with Gambhir operating as a player and a skipper and once when the former India batter was appointed as the franchise's mentor.
Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina also took to X and wished the Bollywood star: "Happy Birthday Shah Rukh bhai! Always a joy to meet you and feel that incredible positivity you bring wherever you go. Keep inspiring us all!"
Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh also posted on X. "Happy Birthday @iamsrk You've shown us that true stardom lies not just in success, but in grace, gratitude, and generosity of spirit. Your words, your wit, your warmth -- all continue to remind me why you are not just a superstar, but an emotion. As a sports person, I am always inspired by your attachment to sports, particularly cricket. Wishing you many more years of love, peace, and success & great health," he wrote.
