Major Pilgrimage Spots Witness Heavy Rush
Temples and holy places across the state saw a massive turnout of devotees since early morning. The most visited spots included:
- Aluva Shiva Temple near Kochi
- Thirunelli Temple in Wayanad
- Parasurama Temple at Thiruvallam near Thiruvananthapuram
- Papanasam Beach in Varkala
- Thirunavaya Navamukunda Temple on the banks of Bharathapuzha in Malappuram
Among these, Thirunavaya Navamukunda Temple witnessed the largest gathering, with devotees lining up at dawn to perform rituals. Temple authorities made extensive arrangements to accommodate the surge of pilgrims, ensuring smooth conduct of the ceremony.
