Former President Barack Obama has so far stayed away from endorsing Kamala Harris as the party's new US Presidential candidate even as many Democratic leaders have already backed her. Obama thinks that Harris cannot beat Republican candidate Donald Trump in the November election, according to a source close to the Biden family.

A few days back, 81-year-old US President Joe Biden announced that he was withdrawing from the presidential race and endorsed Vice President Harris as the Democratic Party's nominee. While most of the Democratic leaders were quick to rally behind Harris, Obama, the 44th US President has held off so far.

“Obama’s very upset because he knows she can’t win,” the Biden family source told The New York Post.

“Obama knows she’s just incompetent — the border czar who never visited the border, saying that all migrants should have health insurance. She cannot navigate the landmines that are ahead of her.”
