President Donald Trump today termed as an "act of pure evil" the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history and said America was "joined together in sadness, shock and grief" after at least 58 people were killed and over 500 others injured at a concert in Las Vegas.

Calling it a "very, very sad day", Trump said that he would go to Las Vegas on Wednesday.
