Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Monday took to X to show his support for the President-elect Donald Trump, he said: "Had this election not been won by @realDonaldTrump, civilization would be lost."
This is not the first time he has claimed that the civilisation is at stake if Trump does not secure victory in the US election. During his first solo rally in support of Donald Trump in October 2024, he asked people not to vote for Kamala Harris as she will legalise so many illegals in the swing states that it wont be swing states anymore.
The X owner stated, “I haven't been politically active before. I'm politically active now because I think the future of America and the future of civilisation is at stake."
Under the tweet an X user commented "Germany is next!", to which Musk responded with "Definitiv!" with a German flag emoji.
Musk has emerged as one of the biggest supporters of Donald Trump during his presidential campaign. Federal filings have finally revealed what the Tesla and SpaceX owner spent to ensure Trump's return to the White House.
According to the data, Musk spent a whopping $250 million on Trump's campaign through donations to his main super PAC, America PAC and three separate cheques for $25 million each in the final weeks of the race.
The New York Times reported that Musk spent a $20 million in a super PAC named after Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the late liberal Supreme Court justice.
Trump also announced that Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk will head a newly-established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), alongside entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration will be held on January 20, 2025. The 78-year-old is expected to hold a victory rally in Washington on the eve of the grand event. The rally will take place at the Capitol One Arena in the District of Columbia.
