Flight attendant who served Queen Elizabeth reveals her special mid-air requests

Queen Elizabeth II often enjoyed a glass of martini mid-air before meeting her guests and carried her own pillow to get a sound sleep, never-seen-before notes reveal.

According to the notes, maintained by a flight attendant who once served the monarch, there were certain special requests by Queen Elizabeth while flying.

"The Queen tends to like a martini before her guests arrive," Elizabeth Evans, who worked with the British Airways for 28 years, said in her notes.

Queen Elizabeth, who died in September 2022 aged 96, even liked a bowl of Velamints at hand before takeoff and only in her dressing room.
