Swedish tech giant Ericsson is considering an out of court settlement with Apple to end the 7-month legal tussle. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Hans Vestberg, Global CEO, Ericsson says: “I always try to settle out of court since its unproductive; we will try that but we have so far not settled that.”This comes after the two tech giants disagreed between over level of cross license and payments. The license agreement ended in mid-January 2015.Ericsson has patents essential for 2G, 3G, 4G standards, has 37,000 patents and invests USD 5 billion every year for research and development (R&D).Watch video for more.
