In June 2023, Apple launched a larger MacBook Air with the new M2 chip at a price of $1,299, a year after the company upgraded the 13-inch MacBook Air with the same processor.

The Scary Fast event will be prerecorded and held online only with no in-person component, as has been the case with prior events.
