Union Ministers Ram Mohan Naidu and Kiren Rijiju criticized the Opposition for failing to agree on the appointment of a Speaker for the 18th Lok Sabha. “Democracy does not work on conditions," stated TDP's Ram Mohan Naidu, while Kiren Rijiju highlighted that the Congress's nomination for the Speaker's post was a mistake.
