TMC leaders detained by Delhi Police for protesting against Election Commission

On April 8, the Delhi Police detained a few Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders who were sitting in protest outside the office of the Election Commission of India in Delhi. The TMC, in a 10-member delegation, sat in protest outside the Election Commission of India, alleging the unfair use of central agencies by the ruling government. During the protest, TMC leaders were seen chanting slogans against PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Sagarika Ghose and Dola Sen, among other TMC leaders, accused the police of misbehaving with them.
