Supreme Court Criticizes Ranveer Allahabadia's Remarks, Imposes Restrictions

The Supreme Court condemned Ranveer Allahabadia's controversial remarks on "India's Got Latent," calling them "condemnable" and "reprehensible." Led by Justice Surya Kant, the bench criticized Allahabadia for violating societal norms under the guise of free speech. The Court also questioned his mindset and imposed restrictions, barring him from airing any shows until further orders. Despite concerns about threats, the Court dismissed them as publicity stunts but granted him interim relief. Allahabadia faces multiple FIRs, while authorities are unable to reach him. Samay Raina, another involved comedian, issued an apology, removing the videos from his channel.
