The Santhal Pargana region of Jharkhand, comprising 18 assembly segments, is set to play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the upcoming assembly polls.Political observers and senior journalists believe that migration for jobs and unemployment are the most pressing issues for voters in the region. Social activists say that the lack of education and healthcare facilities in the region are also major concerns. The elections for the 81-member assembly in Jharkhand will be held in two phases on November 13th and 20th.
