One person’s trash can indeed be another’s treasure.

A 34-year-old woman from Texas, US, has transformed the often frowned-upon practice of dumpster diving into a lucrative full-time occupation. Tiffany Butler earned over $76,000 (Rs 63.77 lakh), with and a bit of luck can turn trash into treasure.

“You never know when stores are going to toss stuff – it’s really just all about luck,” Butler shared with What’s The Jam. Diving into dumpsters at least two to three times a week, she collects and resells products online, turning discarded items into profit.

In a recent video on social media Butler displayed her latest finds: nine brand-new New Balance sneakers, water bottles, T-shirts, and socks, all with price tags still attached.
