Multiple heavy rainfall alerts have been issued for Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh till July 9 by the IMD's regional met centre in New Delhi.

Some areas of Uttar Pradesh may also experience heavy to extremely heavy rainfall (64.5 mm-204 mm) today.

Monsoon Live Updates: IMD updates about prevailing temperatures 


On Thursday the minimum temperatures are above the normal temperature by 1.6 degrees celsius to 3.0 degrees celsius In places like Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Karaikal and Puducherry. Whereas it is below normal by 1.6 degrees celsius to 3.0 degrees celsius over West Madhya Pradesh, West Rajashthan, Konkan and Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi.
