Over the past three years Forbes India has been instrumental in recognizing and featuring outstanding leadership across the entrepreneurial firmament. At its very core the magazine celebrates capitalism and does this by featuring stories of successful entrepreneurs.
“Last year the whole idea of setting up a distinctive set of awards to recognize transformation of leadership was largely because all around the year as a magazine we write about transformational leadership that a lot of India’s best entrepreneurs exhibit. We set at some point every year, we like to recognize that and these awards were really instituted to do just that," Indrajit Gupta, Editor, Forbes India said. The nomination process was fairly rigorous and jury based. It was chaired by Kamath last year as well, Gupta added. "We came back with very outstanding set of entrepreneurs who stood out for the work that they have done in building their enterprise and demonstrating the whole facet of transforming leadership that we wanted to recognize."
