In the now-viral posts, Meloni was seen greeting German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen with the namaste, thus garnering praise from all sections of social media.
The videos sparked widespread attention, causing the term 'namaste' to trend on the platform. Many users expressed their admiration for the Italian Prime Minister's gesture. “Namaste goes Global.
