"Stop trying to compete against everyone else. The race is only with yourself. Strive to be better than you were yesterday. Outwork your own doubts and insecurities," Alagh wrote on the social media platform.
Alagh further said that it was important to raise the bar constantly, rather than setting others as a benchmark.

"When you're truly competing against your former self, that's when growth happens. The benchmark isn't others - it's constantly raising your own bar," she wrote.
