Women Inc: Addressing India's gender gap

India may be the fastest growing economies in the world but she still ranks 87th of 144 countries in the world ranking on closing the gender gap. Latest figure show an alarming dropout rate of women from jobs both at the highest level – the post graduate level - and at the lowest illiterate levels.

In part to address this issue, Credit Suisse is celebrating its 15th anniversary in impact investing in conjunction with Women’s World Banking, an entity that is actively involved in helping women join and re-join the work force at the bottom of the pyramid.
