As per a report in PageSix, Elon Musk is being sued by his ex-girlfriend Grimes over parental rights of their three children. Grimes, a Canadian musician whose legal name is Claire Boucher, filed a petition on Friday in San Francisco Superior Court to establish a parental relationship.
The ex-couple have three children together – a son named X Æ A-Xii, a daughter born in 2021 named Exa Dark Siderael Musk and recently the billionaire revealed that he has another son named Techno Mechanicus with the musician.
In her petition, the singer has claimed that Musk will not give her access to one of her children. Her request asks the court to identify the legal parents of a child in the case of them not being married.
The Tesla chief and the singer dated on and off from 2018 until their final split in 2021. Only last month, it was revealed that the billionaire had a third child with Grimes. The revelation was made by Walter Isaacson in his “Elon Musk” biography.
The Canadian musician also talked about her relationship with Musk in an interview with Wired earlier. She called it the “best internship ever”. She also claimed that the children will have a “pretty intense” upbringing as "being Elon's kid is not the same as being anyone's kid".
Meanwhile, Musk has a total of 10 children with three different women. Apart from three children with Grimes, he has five children with Canadian author Justine Wilson. He also has twins with Neuralink director of operations and special projects Shivon Zilis who were born in November 2021, a month before his daughter with Grimes.
